well the best age to start ballet is 3-10.when you are little you can be eazy flexible.i started dance at 3 .in addition some dancers have started ballet at 13 and i know somenone thet start at 18 and now they are prima balarinas.aletlana started at 10.so the age is no so importand if you start at biger age you have to try harder,

Well, I've know people who have started at 3 and are amazing, but then agaian someone from my ballet school started at 12/13 a year later had a place in a ballet school (one of those boarding schools) so, I think if you have it then you have it.

I quit ballet a few years ago, but I want to get back into it, though I've become very klutzy with dance. I've gotten more into basketball, too.

i started ballet at 12, and i was not in the best shape. so 3 is where you should start cuz that age is very flexible.

i started at 3 but my friend started at 12 and shes amazing now. and shes only had 1 year of classes!
