Even so, I think he would still look better with the normal hair.

Jake looks more like a Na'vi and Clan leader with the War-cut/na'vi hair.

I remember the first time I saw Avatar, I was thinking "Why is Tsu-tey praying to Eywa?" before realising it was Jake.

I prefer the hair he started with, but I liked seeing the progression of his hair as he became integrated into the Clan and finally became a full member by the end of the movie.
