So in my last 기사 I mentioned that I wanted to compare two of my 가장 좋아하는 characters; Azula and Kuvira. And that's just what Imma do.

First and foremost they are both cunning and manipulative. The two of them share that crazy ability to just twist their words to make their will appeal to their opposers. In the way Azula got Ty-Lee to 가입하기 her side, Kuvira was able to get that one small Earth village on her side.

Likewise both seem to have this large interest with politics and military. They both have very meticulous strategies as to how to take the 다음 place. They both want dominance. The only difference is that Azula's intentions weren't born out of a good nature as Kuvira's were. Alongside this is the fact that they both took control over large Earth Kingdom powerhouses. They also both did so using said kingdom's very own military force. Kuvira rallied up a bunch of Zaofu citizens and set out as Azula found control of the Dai Lee.

Aside form political and military interests, Azula and Kuvira were both child prodigies. Ozai among others recognized Azula's vast firebending abilities. She mastered at least 14 (if I remember right) firebending forms. Likewise Suyin recognized that Kuvira was very skilled when she was only 8 years old.

The two are also both rather smug and confidant. The two know they have skills and they flaunt it. They do this to the point of almost putting themselves in danger. Kuvira in going for a one-on-one with Korra, and Azula trying to take on all of team 아바타 plus Zuko and Iroh 의해 herself in The Chase.

Going off of that that thought, both took down (or very nearly) took down the Avatar. And while the 아바타 was in the 아바타 state at that. (Though Kuvira's ultimate victory came when Korra was not in said state). Azula took Aang with a flash of lightning, he was only save because Katara was there. And Kuvira very well would have had Korra if not for Jinora and Opal. Right down to surprise interventions, their face off with the 아바타 was similar.

Of course there are all those little things like when Kuvira motioned for her guards to take Suyin and the twins awasy vs the time when Azula ordered her guards to take care of Zuko an Iroh in (I think) the 아바타 State. And the whole battle scene with Korra. When she was tossed to the ground and her hair came undone, all I could think of was Azula's final agni kai.

Don't get me wrong though, Azula and Kuvira (though similar in many ways) are also very different. They are both very unique characters and I 사랑 them both.

So I seem to have one of these for all of my 가장 좋아하는 characters, and yet I haven't made one for these two. So I decided to type one up.

Kuvira

As always I will clear out the shallow reason first. Like many others I can very well appreciate physical beauty. To be rather honest, usually I start to appreciate my 가장 좋아하는 character's physical appearance after they become my favorite. But with Kuvira, this was not the case. She just has such a beautiful and elegant face but all at once there is this sort of toughness to it. And she doesn't even really wear make up. I 사랑 her eye shape loads and...

To begin, I'd like to say that I'm not a 팬 of the 사랑 삼각형 aspect of Legend of Korra. I think it was distracting, not particularly interesting and I'm praying that it's never brought up again 다음 season. That said, I do think that Korra and Mako have been getting a great deal of grief over the whole business, and I'd like to say my piece regarding the two characters in regards to many fans' reactions to them.

For a start, I don't have a problem with the idea of the two being an item. I don't like the ships that are not canon in the 아바타 world, but the relationships in the show, the...

아바타 Aang was raised 의해 monks, although the identity of his real parents was unknown. Being raised 의해 monk Aang was taught about life and to respect it, the ways of the monks are ways of peace and meditation, Aang was already a master airbender before he found out he was the avatar, he learnt and mastered all four elements 의해 the end of the summer. And all his masters were part of Team avatar(katara, toph, zuko). And he was just a kid. Monks are also spiritual people thats why it didn't take Aang along time to master going into the spirit world.
Well in 아바타 Korra's case she mastered three...

Chapter 1 Amon Is Alive Part 2:

I continue to run thru the woods trying 의해 myself time till my bending comes back 또는 i get rid of them.I then saw them they were getting closer and closer to me. I started to wish Mako 또는 someone saw me so then at least I be 더 많이 evenly matched than i was right now. I also wished that Mako 또는 my 프렌즈 did not see me, becuase if anyone should get hurt should be me. If any of them got hurt I would not be able to forgive myself. I was just about to get my bending back when one of the chei blockers chei blocked me again. Then they also began to surround me. Right...

I think part of the reason he gets so much hate is because he’s difficult to relate to. And part of the reason Asami is such a 팬 가장 좋아하는 is because she’s extremely easy to identify with.

Like come on, while all of them have had shit happen to them, Mako has probably experienced the most crap out of the main cast, along with Bolin but even then, he’s done most of the sheltering and protecting and has had no one shelter 또는 protect him.

Asami’s issues are terrible, and not only that but they’re relatable. Wayyy 더 많이 extreme than most things the target audience will ever face obviously...
