Authors Note: Hello all! I haven't written an Azula piece in awhile. This is another imagining of her POV after her Agni Kai loss to Zuko and Katara. It's formatted as a letter to her mother from the mental facility. Enjoy!
Dear Mother,
I know 당신 will burn this letter, and I know I've become an even larger disgrace to 당신 than before, but I am lost. I know not what will become of me 또는 my legacy. The legacy that was stolen from me. And the legacy I was weak enough to lose. "Such a spoiled princess.", the servants would say, "And such a lonely soul." I've caused many peolle so much pain and so much needless suffering. All for your love. I wanted 당신 to say I was your little girl, triumphantly standing above the burning earth. I wanted 당신 to hold me. But instead, 당신 held Zuko. He's beaten me again. I've been deposed, I've been mocked, and most of all, I've been humiliated. They stood at a distance and watched as the hot tears of a battle well 로스트 exploded out of me and into view. Zuko and his peasant. They chained my body, and they chained my spirit, Mother. I couldn't run and hide behind the crimson threshold of the palace walls. I couldn't hide behind my name. And I couldn't hide behind the loving embrace of another human being. I'm confused, Mother. I'm a fake. A bad lie. And a monster. 당신 were right. The monster has been muzzled, locked away behind the iron walks of deception she herself fashioned from her very own foolish hopes and wishes. My eyes ache with dryness, for the flowing tears of yesterday have ceased to accompany my sorrows. "She's sick.", they say. "Erased from history. A nut, a crazy, a demon, and a sad little girl who wanted her mommy." As I finish this letter, I beg 당신 to understand that I have received my just rewards and that my destiny has been sealed. It was all for you, Mother. And it was 당신 for whom my flame of destruction burnt. The flame has been extinguished and so has my will to carry on. My soul has turned to ashes at the mercy of the flame of destiny, the flame of my greatest shame. Goodbye, Mother.
Sincerely,
Your Monster, Azula.

There on the floor lye a little boy, just laying there. Yue ran 앞으로 and made the little boy lay in her arms. Though as she began to inspect him she found a burn right on his neck. She gasped but before she do anything healers came to take her away. She turned to Zuko to see his expression. It was nothing but pure horror and shock. The 다음 일 it rained and was probably the most boring in the world. She could not visit Zuko because the healers told her they needed to test him and work on him. So there she sat, in front of my window watching the rain fall and just before it hit the ground turn to ice. I t was a magnifecent sight if 당신 could see it turn to ice. Then she began to think. Was being with zuko right? Who burned the child yesterday? Could it had been zuko. What were the healers doing in zuko's room? . . . Did she belong here?
