A week has past and Azula feels as if she has changed. She felt slightly 더 많이 concern and kindness for people who she normally wouldn't care about. One 일 some 불, 화재 nation guards were attacking a family. It was a single mother with two children. She couldn't pay her bills to the 불, 화재 nation so they decided to take away her children. She tried to get them back but they held her back.

Jet saw this and ran right to them to help but they grabbed him and were going to kill him. Azula saw this and wasn't sure what to do. Her mission was about to be complete but she just couldn't let it happen. So she used a 칼, 나이프 and threw it at the guard to stop him from killing Jet. She than ran to them "Let them go!" she demanded.

"Oh looks like we have another trouble maker! Lets see how 당신 like this!" the guard than firebended right at her. However when he did she had not a scratch on her.

She fired blue 불, 화재 at him and everyone was shocked 의해 this. She reached out of her pocket to get her head piece, removed her hood, and put her head piece on. "I said let them go, 의해 order of Princess Azula of The 불, 화재 Nation!"

The guards bowed down and forced Jet and the family to bow down too. "Princess Azula, what are 당신 going out here dressed like that? Why are 당신 defending these filthy peasants?" asked the guards.

Azula scowled at them and said "That's none of your concern, you're only concern is to obey me!"

"B-b-but princess" stuttered the guard.

"Do as I command! Release them!" commanded Azula.

They did as she said. Jet ran to her angry. "You're 불, 화재 nation! I should've known! 당신 lied to me! 당신 were doing all of this just so 당신 could kill me!"

Azula smiled "Yes you're right that's what my plan was!"

Jet in anger asked "So why didn't 당신 let them kill me?". Azula didn't respond and walked away. Jet went after her and was still angry trying to get an answer. "Tell me 당신 heartless monster!"

"Stay away from me! You're the reason I didn't kill you! I almost did once in your sleep but I couldn't do it! If I could bring myself to kill you, trust me you'd be dead!" said Azula coldly.

She went back to the Palace of Ba Sing Se and got dressed in her 불, 화재 nation outfit once again. She heard that the guards were going after Jet. She didn't know why but she wanted to go after him and help. However she knew she couldn't. She decided that for real this time she would kill him and end these feelings she had that she didn't understand.

Jet had been running from the guards and was tired. Azula found him knew what she needed to do but felt as if she couldn't do it but she must. "What's wrong? Tired from running from the guards?" asked Azula in a sassy way.

"I'll be fine when I get back to my hide out." said Jet with a smile.

Azula held her head high "What exactly makes 당신 think I'm going to let you?"

"I thought we were friends!" shouted Jet.

Azula was both sad and angry at the same time "I have no friends, just people who betray me! Besides what do 당신 care? I thought 당신 hated 불, 화재 nation!"

"I was just upset. Not all people are like that. Why are 당신 like this?" said Jet.

"I'm the 불, 화재 Lord's daughter! Being on the Avatar's side wasn't exactly an option for me. At least this way with fear I can show I'm much 더 많이 than just some pretty princess. I'll get respect!" said Azula with her head high.

"You don't have to make people fear 당신 to get respect 또는 feel good about yourself" said Jet with truth in his eyes.

Azula was about to strike him. She generated lightning and the fired. Jet closed his eyes but when he opened them he wasn't dead. She had hit the 나무, 트리 다음 to him, it was very close. She actually missed on purpose. She just couldn't bring herself to kill him for some reason. She walked away unsure of herself once again.

He tried to go after her and kept grabbing her hand to get her to listen. "Azula please I just wanna talk!" he begged.

She got irritated "Let go! Leave me alone!" she demanded.

"No I'm not going without talking to you!" he said.

She than used her mind and set his butt on fire. He let go and ran away screaming pain and jumped into a river. When he got out of the water she was gone. He went back to his hide out but all he could think of was Azula.

Azula went back to the palace but to her surprise her father was there. "Father! What are 당신 doing here?" asked Azula shocked.

"I heard there was a problem with a rebel causing trouble. I heard they almost killed him and 당신 stopped them." said Ozai angry.

Azula was scared "I can explain!"

"Just like when 당신 lied to me saying you're brother killed the avatar! 당신 have shamed yourself!" said Ozai in anger.

"I was only trying to help!" said Azula.

"Because of your foolishness the 아바타 and the rebel are alive! You've shamed yourself, your father, and your nation! Get out of my sight now!" shouted Ozai furious.

"Yes father." said Azula in sadness as she walked off.
