Sad News - People of Norway/Amy Winehouse

Our hearts and condolences go out to the people of Norway at this tragic time with the killing of 90 people, mostly young teenagers enjoying a camping trip as well as those killed in the bombing in the capital, Oslo.

I hope we can all pray for them and hope that we can avoid such tragedies in the future.

Also, the sad death of Amy Winehouse, a promising young singer of only 27 years old. A sad but inevitable death due to her unfortunate addictions. She was a great singer and had so much to live for at her tender age but alas took the wrong path.

All in all, it has been a sad weekend in two Continents. May we say a prayer for all those who have died.

May the great man help us to take the right path in all we do and thank him for giving us such good friends, especially here at Fanpop. At least we know we have 프렌즈 here to talk with, to laugh with and to share our passions with, some people don't have that.

At least we have the Merlin cast at San Diego Comic Con to look 앞으로 to and cheer us up. Let's hope that goes well. *stepping down from my soapbox*

MISAforever Beautiful article! Yet so sad. It is almost unimaginable that these things happen in our society. Massacre that happened broke my heart. Seeing all those kids crying, hurt.. It is something you watch in the movies, not news. It should've never happened. I will never understand how someone can be so evil and able to do such thing. We worry too much and forget to be grateful for everything we have. So Thank you for this article. Amy Winehouse, on the other hand, as much as it is tragic and sad, did it by her choice. I hope this will serve like a lesson to all of us that no is the only answer to the drugs. Too many people have died of overdose. I wish we could stop that..

Melisey Beautiful article. This event shook Norway to the core. It is awful what happened. It was pure evil the way he slaughtered those kids. I can't even begin to imagine the horror. It breaks my heart, I have cried many tears while watching the news. In times like these humankind needs to focus on love and supporting each other. Someone had written on some flowers today. That if one man can create that much hate. Imagine all the love all of us can create together. Thank you! :)

islanda Well said BAeyes. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the fallen in Norway and the Norwegian people as they deal with this horrible tragedy. Melisey said it best: we need to focus on love and positivity in the world. I think that is probably one of the best gifts that humankind can give the world, and show each other.

Lots of sad things happen in this world and sometimes we don't understand why, but we can sure pray, as you said, because God knows what He's doing and we can trust Him.
