April Young is a new character in Season Four. She is a 16-year-old girl who comes back to town and is originally from Mystic Falls, so she remembers Jeremy and Elena from their childhood. She's been away at a private school for the last few years. Elena, as a new vampire, thinks it's her job to keep her 안전한, 안전 from the 수퍼내츄럴 secret of Mystic Falls. She decides to 옮기기 back to town for the funeral of her father, so she's grieving to begin with when she arrives.
As a young girl, April was babysat 의해 Elena Gilbert. She was childhood 프렌즈 with Jeremy Gilbert and Matt Donovan.
