๐Ÿ‘พSUB ๋˜๋Š” DUB๐Ÿ‘พ

I choose sub because I think Japanese actors/actress are the best in the WORLD! Dub sounds weird...there's nothing good about it...

In all honesty, it depends. If the dub casting is good, I'll check it out. If I have heard good things about the dub, I'll try it. If I like the dub, I'll continue watching it like that. If I dislike the voices then I will watch it in Japanese. Besides, some ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” don't even have English dubs. Admittedly, after completing an ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” in one language, it does feel a bit weird to watch it again with a different set of voices. The only ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” that I was able to watch in both English and Japanese was Lucky Star.

Subs all the way.

I don't think dubs are bad ๋˜๋Š” anything; I just don't like them. No matter the genre ๋˜๋Š” the anime, dubs always sound awkward and corny to me, and they take away the serious tone of an ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” and turn it childish. This annoys me the most in action ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” because a really intense fight scene oftentimes begins to sound like a child's cartoon instead of an ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” with a mature plot line. Basically, for me, watching an ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” with dubs is the same as watching a live-action movie with dubs - it's just awkward either way. Perhaps this is because, like many others on here, I grew up with western ๋งŒํ™” and animated movies, and the English voice actors for Japanese ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” in comparison to them sound so monotone and emotionless. On a side note from that last point, I think several of the female English voice actors have annoying/whiny voices. I have no problem with female Japanese voice actors because they're, ๋‹น์‹  know, Japanese, whereas I know most English female voices aren't really that high-pitched, yet many of them in ์•„๋‹ˆ๋ฉ” still have that fake high ring to them (in my opinion). As for the subtitles themselves, I honestly don't have a problem with them at all because I'm a really fast reader, but for people who read slowly, I understand why they at least don't like subs.

I actually choose dub. I ์‚ฌ๋ž‘ Japanese (well most) voices, but some of them sound TERRIBLE (Ex. Hetalia) and I do not like ์ฝ๊ธฐ subtitles because, well. I want to understand what they are saying! The reason why I ์‚ฌ๋ž‘ dubs is because every voice actor is AMAZING on the dub! (Especially Bandai and Funimation!) and I will not have to read! Dubs FTW!

Why do ๋‹น์‹  guys seriously worship the Japanese language as it is the sacred gift from God and condeming the English language as the hell spawn of the devil? My my, I ์‚ฌ๋ž‘ both dub and sub equally. They both have their positives and negatives. I just hate dub haters I'm just saying.
