👾SUB 또는 DUB👾

In all honesty, it depends. If the dub casting is good, I'll check it out. If I have heard good things about the dub, I'll try it. If I like the dub, I'll continue watching it like that. If I dislike the voices then I will watch it in Japanese. Besides, some 아니메 don't even have English dubs. Admittedly, after completing an 아니메 in one language, it does feel a bit weird to watch it again with a different set of voices. The only 아니메 that I was able to watch in both English and Japanese was Lucky Star.

I don't think dubs are bad 또는 anything; I just don't like them. No matter the genre 또는 the anime, dubs always sound awkward and corny to me, and they take away the serious tone of an 아니메 and turn it childish. This annoys me the most in action 아니메 because a really intense fight scene oftentimes begins to sound like a child's cartoon instead of an 아니메 with a mature plot line. Basically, for me, watching an 아니메 with dubs is the same as watching a live-action movie with dubs - it's just awkward either way. Perhaps this is because, like many others on here, I grew up with western 만화 and animated movies, and the English voice actors for Japanese 아니메 in comparison to them sound so monotone and emotionless. On a side note from that last point, I think several of the female English voice actors have annoying/whiny voices. I have no problem with female Japanese voice actors because they're, 당신 know, Japanese, whereas I know most English female voices aren't really that high-pitched, yet many of them in 아니메 still have that fake high ring to them (in my opinion). As for the subtitles themselves, I honestly don't have a problem with them at all because I'm a really fast reader, but for people who read slowly, I understand why they at least don't like subs.

i agree with u.. i like the sub most..the japanese voiceand lang give the main thrill for the anime.... but i like fairy tail in english dub...they did it really gud!

I actually choose dub. I 사랑 Japanese (well most) voices, but some of them sound TERRIBLE (Ex. Hetalia) and I do not like 읽기 subtitles because, well. I want to understand what they are saying! The reason why I 사랑 dubs is because every voice actor is AMAZING on the dub! (Especially Bandai and Funimation!) and I will not have to read! Dubs FTW!

Dub because I can understand it! I don't like sub because I don't want to read the subtitles and I can't understand it because I am not Japanese

Why do 당신 guys seriously worship the Japanese language as it is the sacred gift from God and condeming the English language as the hell spawn of the devil? My my, I 사랑 both dub and sub equally. They both have their positives and negatives. I just hate dub haters I'm just saying.

I don't care how I watch my anime. Mostly subs because I watch a lot of new 아니메 that has recently been brought out and they don't have a dub for it.

I prefer to watch dubbed versions of 아니메 over subtitled versions anytime for me now
