How dose Yu-Gi-Oh! copy Pokemon?

Yu-Gi-Oh is in the monster 아니메 catagory as Pokemon and Digimon, but none of them are the same. When Yu-Gi-Oh came out, nobody played Pokemon video games and it looked liked that Digimon would never return. Now, thanks to how bad Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's is, Pokemon games have made 더 많이 then a recovery and Digimon is (slowly) recovering.

The people who think Yu-Gi-Oh! is a copy of Pokemon are either very inexperienced 아니메 watchers 또는 just trolls. I, for one have never heard anyone say something like this.

Right I like Pokemon better than Yugioh but I think Yugioh copies Pokemon and I also don't think that Pokemon copies Yugioh

they are completely separate things. in Yu-gi-oh!, the monsters can only be summoned in spesific places. in pokemon, they can be brought out whenever. i mean, they dont even look 또는 sound alike at all! how could anyone think that they copy each other? besides, if i remember right, Yu-Gi-Oh! came first.

pokemon copies yugioh because they're both anime,and the both battle with nonexisting creatures.

I don't see how Yu-Gi-Oh! would even be close to Pokemon..except for the monsters in a type of battle..there's no similarity at all,Yu-Gi-Oh! the original had Four 프렌즈 (Yugi,Joesph :P,Tristan and Tea) they were not going town to town making their foe blast off with a type of attack..they do meet people a long the way..say for the example of the Shadow Realm,No ONE would even think about that in Pokemon..I mean who's the Team Rocket of Yu-Gi-Oh!? well there is none..I mean there are the rare hunters but they only want rare cards and Yugi does NOT make them blast off on a 일 to 일 (episode to episode) basis..which is kind of predictable in Pokemon Episodes It's been happing since the Kanto still happens through the Sinnoh,not in the newer ones,heaven knows about the Best Wishes Series...To Me Yugi/Atem takes a better approach in the hero thing,but that is only me :P..and the Idea of Legendary Pokemon as Egyptian Gods and Exodia? they don't even Match,Yu-Gi-Oh! has Attack and Defense Points,and Pokemon Has HP..Obelisk (for example) is nothing like Lugia (example) they are rare and hard to find,but that's it.Also Yu-Gi-Oh!uses cards and 당신 can not capture the Monsterin Yu-Gi-Oh! they come in cards and are holograms and uses ONE attack ex:Dark Magician:uses Dark Magic Attack also it is said to be based on ancient games that were played in Egypt also they had the Millenium Items.,Pokemon uses Pokeballs,Master Balls,Great Balls..etc and are very much real to the characters also Pokemon can have four attacks ex:Croconaw can have Bite,Scratch,Water Gun and Water Pulse,so like I said before aside from the idea of using Monsters & battling there is NO similarities what so ever Sorry if this was too long :P

They're both in the same genre. Some people are idiots and don't know the difference between stealing ideas and genre traits. Yugioh does not rip off Pokemon.

Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist. But I don't think Yu-Gi-Oh is a copy of Pokémon, in fact I think they're connected.
