It felt like we had been walking for weeks. The truth is we had only been walking a few hours since our last break. We had escaped the massacre only to be left wandering for days 또는 weeks I couldn't tell anymore. There were less than a dozen of us left and we had to find a new pack if we wanted to survive. We had to go where my father had told us that 늑대 were protected. I believed it to only be a story but now it was hope and the only little bit we have had left. We had to find Jasper.

The three alphas we had left estimated we would be there in less than a days walk. I wondered why they still followed me after all I was only an Omega after all. Perhaps desperate times did call for desperate measures. I was going to make sure the survivors of my pack would find a new home. I had the group stop for the night, we needed the rest and we needed t be ready for tomorrow might turn out to be a long day. I hated to do it but I put my brother and two other Omega's on watch and I needed the Alpha's to to be rested and ready.


(next day)

We set off early the 다음 morning shortly after dawn. We entered from the Eastern side of Jasper. It was thick with trees and the perfect spot for an ambush. I ordered the two Alpha's Sidney and Foljek to stay back and blend in with the group. If we weren't welcome and to be attacked I didn't want our fighters to be taken out at the beginning of an attack. A little after mid-day Foljek came up to the front and told me that we were being followed. He said to be ready for anything. We walked for about another half an 시간 until there was a long lonely sounding howl. It sounded like it was coming from all around us but it couldn't have been could it? Before I was even able to respond no less than two dozen Alpha's of all shades of brown slowly walked out of the woods surrounding us.

“Circle!” I yelled

Our small group formed into a less than formidable circle. I knew that we didn't stand a chance but I would be damned if we didn't put up any resistance. I was so busy grouping us together that I didn't notice three of the group that had surrounded separated from there main group. I assumed that one of them had to be the leader.

An old looking Brown Alpha walked till about 10 feet from us. With a loud booming voice he spoke

“You will turn around and go back to where 당신 came from. If 당신 refuse 당신 will all die.”

I had hoped it wouldn't turn out this way.
