Adam Levine leads a "charmed" life.

The 33-year-old Maroon 5 singer – who also works as a vocal coach on 'The Voice' and plans to release his own perfume range – feels he has a lot to be thankful for.

He said: "I live a very 참드 life that I don't ever take for granted. I wake up in the morning and feel like the luckiest man in the world.

"I'm a confident person – but I still think, confidence aside, [success] has a lot to do with timing, making the right decisions and being lucky."

And the 'Moves Like Jagger' singer admits 'The Voice' played a big part in the renewed success of his band.

He told WWD: "This show has inspired me in amazing ways I never thought possible. It has given the band sort of a 초 life that we never really saw coming.

"All I know is, it's a lot of fun. If you're lucky enough to stumble upon these types of things, to not embrace them with open arms is a waste."

But despite his forays into other fields, Adam insists that first and foremost his is a musician.

He added: "I'm in a band. All these wonderful things on the periphery are fine, but I want to be in a band. I want to go on tour. That's what I do. I can forget that sometimes."
